The Bungaree FNC, after advice from AFL Victoria & AFL Goldfield has suspended playing and training until the 31st of May 2020.

AFL Goldfields – Covid-19 Update and Impact on 2020 Seasons

Auskick will be kicking off at Bungaree on Friday the 17th of April at 5pm.

Chris Cowan will once again be running the program and we encourage anyone who is interested to come along!

The Memorial Service for Danny Frawley will take place at Moorabbin Oval (RSEA Park) on Wednesday September 18th commencing at 3pm.

We will have a bus departing the new basketball stadium car park (Dowling St) at 10.30am and the Bungaree Recreation Reserve at 11.00am on Wednesday for any members of the Bungaree community who would like to attend.

The Bungaree Football & Netball Club and wider Bungaree community is devastated by the loss of club legend Danny Frawley. We would like to offer our deepest condolences to the family & friends of Danny in this difficult time.

Danny is Bungaree’s biggest ever export, starting his football journey with the club before moving on to a very successful playing, coaching and media career in the AFL. Danny’s legacy will forever live on at the Bungaree FNC with the Danny Frawley Pavilion being named in his honour in 2013.

It is with great pleasure that we would like to announce that we have appointed Ryan Waight as senior coach for the 2020 CHFL season, this decision was reached by the committee in early July, this early appointment has enabled Ryan to get started on ensuring we are well prepared for next season.

Ryan has been an assistant coach at the club for the past two seasons, prior to this he forged a successful career with Redan in the BFL. We wish Ryan the best of luck in this position into the future and hope that everyone can get behind him in the role!

The Bungaree FNC reverse raffle is happening again this year, taking place on Sunday July the 14th, the day after our round 13 clash with Waubra.

Tickets will again be $50, with the major prizes as follows, there will also be a number of spot prizes throughout the day.
1st prize is $4000
2nd $2000 &
3rd $1000

You don’t have to be present on the day to win the cash prizes, so if you can’t make it don’t let it stop you from trying your luck!

Each ticket includes an entry into the raffle, 3 happy hours, finger food and a bus back into Ballarat.
