Tickets now available for Bungaree’s a ‘Day on the Green’

Tickets are now available to be purchased for our ‘Day on the Green’ event which is sure to kick off our 2019 season in style.

Join us on Sunday the 17th of March as we kick off our 2019 CHFNL season by hosting a Bungaree FNC ‘Day on the Green’.. the bowling green that is!

Special guests on the day will include Bungaree’s own Danny Frawley, along with Brian Taylor, Billy Brownless and Jonathon Brown.

Tickets for the day will cost $120 each, which includes food and a 6 hour beer, wine & soft drink package!

Start time is 12pm where you will be able to enter the draw for the opportunity to play a round of bowls with one of our special guests, the game of bowls will begin at 1pm and will be finished before a panel show and Q&A with the guests.

2019 Preseason Training

Senior football 2019 preseason training will commence Wednesday night (tomorrow) from 6.15pm at Lake Esmond. All new, existing & potential players are encouraged and welcome to attend!

Training before Christmas will be on Monday’s at Bungaree and Wednesday’s at various locations in Ballarat, please contact the coaches if you have any questions.

2018 Junior Presentation Night

As the season come to a close, we have our presentations night’s being held, please read below for all the information for our senior and junior teams.

U15 & U18 Football – Thursday the 6th of September, 6pm start. $10 per head.

Junior Netball – Wednesday the 12th of September, 6pm start. $10 per head.

Senior Football & Netball – Friday the 14th of September, 6pm start. $30 per head.

All presentation nights will be a sit down dinner, if all junior players could please RSVP to their coaches with their attendance, and any other people coming along.

If all people intending to come along to the senior B&F could please RSVP to their coach, or on the Facebook event.

2018 Senior Presentation Night

Join us as we close of the 2018 season by awarding the fairest and best players in all of our senior football and netball grades, as well as many other awards for people all throughout the club.

The senior football will once again be awarding the Tommy McGaune Medal, whilst the A Grade netball the best player will receive the Bard O’Dwyer Medal.

Entry will be $30, to be paid on the door, and will include a sit down meal. If you could please RSVP by the 12th of September via the Facebook event, or your coach it would be much appreciated in order to have an idea for numbers.

Joel Mahar Wins Geoff Taylor Medal

Congratulations to Joel Mahar who on Wednesday night took out the Geoff Taylor Medal for the best & fairest player across the 2018 season. Joel has had an outstanding season for our club this season, which has been his first full year back in the red and blue since travelling Australia. Joel was also selected in the CHFL team of the year, awesome effort Joel!

Molly Binks also did the club proud by being awarded the best & fairest in the C Grade netball competition. Molly won the award by a staggering 12 votes, well done Molly on your massive achievement. Also on the netball side of the night Kathryn O’Dwyer was recognised in the CHNL team of the season in Wing Attack. Well done to you all on you all!
