Founded in 1905, the Bungaree Football Club has gone on to become one of the most famous and successful clubs in Country Victoria. Located in the fertile potato farming district to the east of Ballarat, the Bungaree Football Club has a rich history founded by the early farming pioneering families of the area. The club was one of the founding members of the Bungaree District FL before moving into the Clunes League after WW2. It was then a founding member of the CHFL in 1979.

Today it provides the facilities for the decedents of these families as well as the broader Ballarat community to be involved in local sporting and social pursuits. Bungaree is one of the most professionally run sporting clubs in the area and boasts over 80 sponsors and over 250 financial members. Bungaree provides a great environment for families and young & older people alike to be involved in healthy sporting activities. In recent years the club has had unrivalled success in netball, junior football and more often than not taken out the CHFL Champion Club Shield, culminating in the Seniors and Reserves football teams breaking long droughts to taste premiership success in 2014. The club has worked tirelessly in recent years to put the structures in place in order to continue this success in the future.

2022 promises to be just as exciting as the club strives to claim another Senior Premiership and secure an 11th Champion Club Award.
All players and supporters thinking about joining the Bungaree FNC are encouraged to contact the club by email on or by phone.
